In 1984, Edmonton's Wayne Gretzky scored four goals (and an assist) for his 10th hat trick of the season, tying his own NHL record set in 1981-82. Oilers won 9-2 over the Penguins at Pittsburgh. It was Gretzky's second four goal game in two days.
