1989, Wayne Gretzky scored twice to hit the 50 goal mark for the 9th (and final) time and added 4 assists (in the 2nd period) in a 6-2 Kings win over the visiting Flyers. Gretzky became just the second player to get 50 goals 9 times in his career.

In 1992, Wayne Gretzky became the first player in NHL history to record 1,500 career assists, when he picked up three to lead the Kings to a 4-3 win over the Sharks, at Oakland.
